Dear 9th grade students and parents of 9th grade students,

 

Welcome to River Hill High School!  This year promises to be filled both with excitement and challenges.  As you will discover, high school is a bit different than middle school.  One of the most noticeable differences is the increased independence.  Teachers (and perhaps your parents too) won’t be over your shoulder all the time telling you to do this or reminding you to do that.  Now that you are in high school, we expect you to be more responsible for your own education.  That doesn’t mean you are on your own, however.  This website introduces you to some of the resources at your disposal to aid you in your transition to high school.  Check out all the links and contact me or Mrs. Munford if you have any questions or if you have any suggestions for the web site.
